They are saying the mixed cabin has to be priced as two separate awards at a cost of 25k more each than the all-business booking.

Is this how Singapore handles mixed cabin awards or do I need to ask for assistance from someone else?
SQ's T&C:

If your itinerary includes bookings in different classes of service, the award level corresponding to the highest class will apply for the whole award ticket.

This appears to be applicable to both SQ only and *A redemptions.

But: The T&C are not saying whether you can arbitrarily mix and match classes. For commercial tickets, a lower class of service is only allowed where the higher class is not offered at all; e.g. you fly First Class from FRA to BKK and SIN-BKK can only be flown in Business Class. But you cannot buy a Business Class ticket for the same routing and "downgrade" to Economy when Business Class is full.
