I have updated the Avios calculator to reflect the change to a revenue based system. I'm not entirely sure I can confirm BA's marketing statement of "
This makes it easier to work out how many Avios you'll get", as the calculator now has to return three separate Avios numbers: One for tickets issued before 18 October, one revenue based for after 18 Oct (BA issued tickets), and one distance based for after 18 Oct (non-BA issued tickets). Also not sure I agree on the "a typical flight could now give you more Avios" - though that is probably just my test cases being non-typical.
Updated calculator can be found here: https://speedbird.online/execclub.php?view=calculator
I have also updated the advanced calculator for non-BA/mixed carrier/mixed cabin itineraries to reflect CX now earning in P class. The advanced caluclator does not yet reflect the 18 October changes, because the marketing speak seems pretty confusing when it comes to IB and then missing altogether when it comes to further partners.
