Washable Luggage
I need to frequently transport liquids by plane, and despite the best precautions, accidents happen. Sometimes a bottle breaks despite being packed in bubble wrap; sometimes a can explodes, due to pressure changes. I have been using a Pelican Air 1535 case, which is a good size (any larger and it would be over weight when packed with liquids). I like it, because if an accident does happen, I can hose the inside down and let it dry.
But it attracts a lot of attention as an "equipment case", the handles aren't very comfortable, and the two wheels aren't great.
I can live it with it, but wondering if there are alternatives, like more handsome cases that have removeable linings and washable interiors. If the lining is not removable, I'm concerned that moisture could get trapped between the lining and the shell and lead to mold.
