What you say is true, but there's a little more nuance to "NOT allowed on inflatable seatbelts" as the belts explicitly say to use an extender if you have a child car seat in that seat in order to disable the airbag. We've been traveling with our (nearly) 3 year old in bulkhead seats on AA, which often have airbags, and needed (and have been given) seatbelt extenders.
Not disagreeing with you, but don't want another parent to read that and think they wouldn't be able to sit there with a car seat.
Interesting.. didn't know AA allowed that. Some carriers do not allow disabling for purpose of car seats. Maybe it has to do with the way the seatbelt fits versus fixed armrests/width of seat that may prevent a car seat from fitting snugly on some.
