To offer another (semi-)datapoint, I inquired about this while checking-in on my recent visit at the ANC AL and was told that there is still an agreement in place for UC members there.
And of course it requires UC members to be flying on United; if flying a different airline (say Alaska) entry will not be granted unless the passenger has an alternative credential.
