Can someone bring a turkey on an airplane?

Let's assume that the turkey is demised. It's passed on. It's no more. It has ceased to be. It's expired and gone to seek its maker. It is a late turkey. It's bereft of life. It rests in peace.

Can one bring it on an AA flight (SFO-DFW-MSY), either fresh (although hopefully on ice) or frozen?
