There's a great beer hall in Prague, down by the river called U Flecku. Its been around for centuries and has good beer. You can chase it with a shot of Becherovka.

For dining, try a place called "David" located just near the American Embassy. Very high end dining, but dinner for two only cost us about $50 US for both of us, not each.
