Avios cancellation - always back office route
Hello everyone,
Quick Q (I've tried searching - apologies if this has been covered previously):
All upcoming flights booked in my wife's account, are only possible to be cancelled by the slow, back office route. They are all simple, one way bookings, booked online, without vouchers and no changes made.
She is head of household, but has had no issues previously cancelling flights in her account, with the 'instant cancellation route' offered, and pro-rata avios refunds automatically going back onto our kids accounts instantly.
In comparison, every 'simple' flight in my account (i'm outside of the household for more flexibility) is showing the instant cancellation route.
Any idea what is going on here please? It appears to be an account-wide setting applied to her account.
If so, can this be removed?
