OT by all means but, since I got assigned to Amsterdam HQ (therefore travelling to the Netherlands on a regular basis, as you know), I hardly recall a day without rain. Taking this past Monday as a data-point, I went for a walk at lunch-time (around Waterlooplein), nice(ish)-and-sunny(ish), only to get miserable in a matter of minutes (Sunday even worse, dry in the morning as soon as I went out and absolutely chucking it down by the time I took a sip of my take-away coffee). Given the circumstances, I may ask to get re-assigned to London (which sounds bizarre, given the glorious British weather, but certainly drier than Amsterdam!)
