There was a time where a quick email describing the essentials and pic of receipt to
[email protected] would get missing points credited within 24-48 hours, done so many times during stay-less restaurant visits.
Nowadays, it seems that contact point is deactivated and Marriott relies on the hotel to credit points. Most recent experience, contact center simply created a ticket and sent it to the hotel on my behalf.
Rarely dine at Marriott restaurants anymore because of this, some waiters even get confused when you present your Bonvoy number.
