In theory, you should automatically get a text/notification to your phone (if enrolled) providing you with hotel and meal vouchers. In practice you may have to go to the CS counter in DEN. Agent on demand (united.com/aod) is a helpful alternative to try if the airport line becomes long from everyone on your flight being in a similar circumstance.
