well, I realize this will be upsetting, but if you’re $3000 away from diamond you probably already have platinum and do you know what you get with platinum? That comfort seat. So no that $3000 to get diamond is not going to pay for itself. The OP is spending $3000 for something they already have😛
i’ve been platinum for the last few years and thanks to Delta‘s bizarre system. I’ll be platinum for the next few and I’ve only sat in a regular economy seat once. I did book that flight two hours before I got on it and no status in the world would’ve gotten me a better seat. so no I still don’t think the $3000 is worth it
