So just as an interesting data point, I complained to AA expecting not a lot, maybe a flight credit voucher....to my surprise i got an email today, some 4 days later, no arguement about the delay or cause and they have dealt with it under Canadian Air Passenger Protection Regulations - I have no idea why......and are posting a cheque for $800!!
