"Points are being held but have not been completely redeemed by the hotel"
Trying to track down a missing 20% rebate from a summer award stay at a Destination by Hyatt resort (per the summer promotion for Chase WoH cardholders), received the following response from Guest Care Support:
"After the hotel has fully redeemed the points, the bonus points are applied within 4 weeks. Further investigation reveals that the points are being held but have not been completely redeemed by the hotel. Once the points have been fully redeemed by the hotel, the bonus points will be added within 4 weeks."
This is a new one for me. Anyone knows what this means? Any way to accelerate the full redemption of the points by the hotel?
