Its crazy how much they want for an upgrade to c+ now - extra $100 on a flight down the coast, on flights that I always get at least an upgrade to c+ on. I will wind up a few hundred $ short, so between free checked bags and a couple upgrades to C+, the investment for 2 years of status for will have repaid itself by the end of Q1 next year.
