I'm being critical, but the rooftop pool does not match the renderings and is instead built into the floor rather than elevated with an infinity edge [even though the website still calls it that], there's a massive empty space on the rooftop, the rooms genuinely do look like a very nice four-star rather than a five-star hotel [utilitarian bathrooms and those bed skirts...
shudder], and I've been to airport lounges and cafeterias with more personality than what the F&B outlets look like. I'll pass final judgment for when I visit the hotel and stay in January, but from what I see so far, it looks to me like it would be a decent four-star hotel - no more.

Disclaimer: this isn't a slam on four-star hotels in any way - I just expect more oomph from a five-star, particularly when you look at hotels in the city with comparable rankings like the Four Seasons, Grand Hyatt, Waldorf Astoria and St. Regis.
