Unless the flight from KUL is late you are def. going to make it in time at BKK for the QR flight. There are special transfer security checks that will take you to the departures level. Just follow the signs for connection/transfer after arriving BKK. 1h20min is usually no issue. There is even a fair chance that check-in agents at KUL will tag your bags to final destination if you show them your onward itinerary (but it is not guaranteed). Don't worry too much about it.
