in terms of national parks…..

Canyonlands/ dead horse— hotels are not cheap and with Arches ticket requirements, this park is gettting much busier ehere the gate has 2+ mile entrance backups. It’s also 2 hr from gate to Moab.

Great Basin is one of the least visited parks. Givrn all the utah park traffic, this park is getting ignored.

state parks… there are many.
