Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
It was fine. Not memorable, but nothing bad either.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked 2-double on points as I wanted a separate bed for our child. Received just that. Unlikely for any upgrade since it’s the only room with two beds.

How are the rooms?
Small. They advertise 28-42 Sqm, it was definitely 28.
Dated. Apart from a USB charging port, I think everything is from the turn of the century. Shower over bathtub, even still had a bidet. That being said, nothing was broken, and it was clean. So it’s not fancy, but it does the job.

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?
Good:
Breakfast was really good with a wide choice.
It fulfils the promise of a holiday inn with a minimum standard of sleep quality, cleanliness, etc.

Bad:
Old, except the restaurant.
Location was so so. It’s within walking distance (10-15 min) of several metro lines, so being away from the centre isn’t a problem in theory. But we had very heavy rain which made it less convenient.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
We paid around 25k points / night which I don’t think is great value, but at some point I need to use them… if you’re there with a family of 4 it’s actually a good use.
If it wasn’t for the need to sleep 3 people, I’d have considered other places.
