Um, I think I've seen this before. It was called UltimateTV. HDTV doesn't appeal to me for cost reasons, so my UltimateTV provides superior utility to TiVo. Way better interface and features!

Now I know why Microsoft stopped producing UltimateTV. They just wanted to get into something bigger and, presumably, better.
