Thank you! Yes, it's a stingray and apparently they would come everyday at 5 p.m. in the evening looking to be fed, it was an activity where the resort would invite guests to come and witness it. Unfortunately, the Maldivian government has banned it now and they don't allow it anymore. Here's a video of it from some years ago when it was still allowed.
