Alright, so here's the last instalment of the trip report. After spending a week in the beautiful Maldives, it was finally time to head back home. Our flight from Male to Doha was at 7:10 p.m. and the check in would only open at 4:10 p.m. therefore we spent around 2 hours at the airport.
The airport in Male is quite basic. They've a few fast food options and a nice coffee place. After checking in, we headed over to the Leeli Lounge which is the main lounge at Male airport for business/first class passengers. Our flight from Male to Doha was operated, as usual, by an ex Cathay Pacific B77w. We had a 4-hour layover at Doha Airport which we spent at the Al Mourjan Garden lounge, I just love it there.
From Doha to Lahore, we were onboard a QR B787-900. It was our first time trying out the mini suites and whilst they're nice, nothing really beats the QSuites. On the contrary, we were thankful that it wasn't an older QR B777-300ER. Nevertheless, enjoy the pictures!
Americano from The Coffee Club at Male Airport, not bad.
