The CBC has proven time and time again that it has no interest in objective journalism or reporting the truth.

It is possible that the news article is reporting the facts.

Unfortunately, given the CBC's track record, their article has no credibility. They slant every article to fit their "lens" of any oppressed person or group versus an evil bogeyman. No physician that I know would ever direct that a patient with severe chest pain should do anything other than divert to the nearest available airport for emergency care.
