I bit the bullet and ordered one of the $100 Visa virtual GCs from gc.com, even though stuck at 1x still. When I checked out, the page said I would earn 100 G-Money points (the 1% site cashback we've been talking about). But I don't seem to have actually earned those points. Was odd to me as historically the "Visa virtual" version did not earn G-money. Anyone else seeing the same?
I ordered three of the discounted $100 VISA gift cards last week and had the same experience. The transactions did, however, post to my Aadvantage account quickly and I also got credit on the tracker toward the 4000 miles bonus through Nov. 17. If no claw back happens that will be a good outcome.
