So how it will be divided in my case: 300XP for keeping status 600 XP converted immediately to 2 years platinum and 25XP as surplus? Or for me it will be done Nov 2025?"

Dear Mr XXXX,
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the XP caping ,
Yes your calculation is correct you will have 2 years and 25 Xp carried over and 300 to maintain for 2025.
This will happen on the 1 November 2024 so you will be in the first group as your counter resets on that day.
It is a good opportunity to reach platinum for life faster so in case you were not aware of the additional ways to boost your XP I am sending you some the information for the 2 additional ways to do that.
I am sending you this LINK with all the information you will need about XP points ,with a calculator to track your earnings and additional 2 ways on how to boost them :
1.CO2 reduction (reforestation ) and SAF ( sustainable aviation fuel ) : for every 10 euro or 2000 miles spent on those packages when you add them on your KLM and Air France flights you will earn 1 XP you can add them from the extra services part of your ticket on an active AirFrance or KLM flight.
2. Donation campaign : every 2000 miles donated to a charity supported by the group = 1xp,for this you do not need an active flight ,this process is instant as soon as you donate it converts your miles for XP, you can also call us and we can do this conversion for you.
For any further information, feel free to contact me by replying to this email, or by visiting the homepage of our site
Warm regards and Happy Birthday in advance for this week !

SO CONCLUSIONS:
1. For a people which new qualifying period starts on 1st November (keeping status on 31 Oct) the transition is done on 1.11.2024 (not 2025!)
2. Surplus left after transition is UP TO 300 points, so if you have as my example 925XP so only 25 XP is treated like a new surplus, and you need to get the rest 275XP till 31.10.2025 to be requalified for next year of platinum.
3. And as I understood then you can have up to 300 XP surplus points (so for example if you will have on 31.10.2025 600 XP so 300 XP will go to keep your status and 300 will be left on your account as a surplus XP for the next qualification period, but if you collect more than 600XP, all above will be lost).
Hope it will clarify you something more. According to my point 3 I will reply them and ask to confirm if my thoughts are correct.
I was thinking that you could have a roll-over up to 599XP - 300 + 299 XP. But according the explanation above, the maximum roll-over in 2024/2025 is 299XP.
what about the roll-over after 2024/2025 ? It’s up to 300 XP or 0 XP ?
