QF do through-check any separate QF-QF and QF-EK tickets. They also through-check QF-oneworld tickets if either of the tickets involved is a reward booking. Of course, as you know, "protection" is a different matter. However, QF Link again can be booked via the phone, it just needs the legwork looking up availability via QF's website or AA and then calling BA.
