Really? No SFO-HKG on CX that night?

While I'm sure that AA would prefer to re-route you on a oneworld carrier, they have interline agreements with non-oneworld carriers, also.

If you had to overnight, I would expect that AA would provide lodging and meals, although if you misconnect because of weather, I'm not certain what their policy is.
