Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Not really. The hotel room was quite nice and the location was good. However we didn't receive any upgrade and the rooms was on a lower floor and right next to the elevators (despite my preference stating the opposite).

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked three 2 Double Standard, received the same. Asked about upgrade at check-in, and the staff was quite clueless. Didn't really push it as I rather have more time to explore the city.

How are the rooms?
The room was clean and bright and with plenty of power outlets. It was also quite spacious. Our room was right by the elevator. When I asked the front desk about it, they told me that rooms at this location (at the corner, above the main entrance) are the only ones with nice views.

How is the exec. lounge?

What was good and what was bad?
The good:
- Well-designed, clean, and bright room. Window can be opened for ventilation
- Central location

The bad:
- Front desk was inexperienced and was unfamiliar with IHG benefits

The ugly:
- No upgrade even when better rooms are available
- Wi-Fi is not encrypted and very unstable

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Paid 27K/night for 260 NZD room. Good value for points, but I don't think I'll return.
