Detailed review of my stay in November 2023

What is your IHG One Rewards status?
Diamond Royal Ambassador Inner Circle

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes, very much.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked chepeast advance rate and received a Pool view room (strangely, pool view is a category above sea view as it is closer restaurants).

How are the rooms?
Around 32sqm.

Very comfortable bed.
Power sockets next to the bed

Dining table and chairs
Desk.

Kettle. No Nespresso machine.

Small closet
(Old) television set with good selection of international channels
No Chromecast
No free PressReader

Free stocked minibar
Very efficient air conditioning.

Small bathroom with bathtub
Antipodes toiletries

View over the main pool.
Very quiet.

Balcony with chairs.
Mobile mosquito net

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?
GOOD
  • Very pleasant property: despite its size, the resort is very pleasant, as it is made up of small buildings set in green, relaxing surroundings.
  • Numerous pools, including one adults only pool with infinity pool and bar
  • Private beach to experiment Dead Sea bath and mud mask
  • Superb spa (Diamond receive free access)
  • Free valet parking
  • Excellent Libanese restaurant (same chef as at InterContinental Jordan Amman). Diamond members receive 30 percent discount.
  • Pretty good breakfast, but served in a room that can be quickly noisy (terrace is definitely a better option).
  • Tesla power station

BAD
  • Nothing

Value for $ or IHG One Rewards Points? Would you return?
I'm not a resort guy (more of an urban traveler), and I generally only stay two or three days in resorts.
But I have to admit that I really enjoyed my stay: the staff are charming and the environment is really relaxing.
