That said, I have two AMEX cards that have this (PLT and Aspire), I end up just buying food or premium drinks at the Admirals Club. That + tip automatically consumes the benefit. I also expense those meals while I travel to my company for reimbursement against my per diem, so effectively it helps offset the annual fee. I've tried multiple Wi-Fi purchases including Panasonic, Viastat, etc. none of them apply, but online articles say the monthly fee gets covered. My JP Morgan Ritz card has a $300 benefit that I use to reimburse Wi-Fi, which I also expense to offset my fees.
