What are you talking about not trusting their checked baggage system? The issue here is my large messenger bag has electronics in it. That is the sole reason why I would not gate check it. If it was all clothes, I wouldn't mind.


Also, I am going to have one checked bag as that is going to have my clothing in it. So I'm not sure what is this thing you are talking about avoiding checked bags. I want to know if anyone has flown this route and ever had an issue with no overhead bin space. I haven't ever but curious if anyone ever had. And if so, does that mean I should go with at least american or delta main cabin? Or what bout jetblue blue?
