If you plan on spending >$50K next year look into Pass Plus.

I do $50k-$60k a year in spend which includes several trips to Asia and like you don’t want to give up flying The Room or The Suite just so I could qualify for GS.

I wanted the best of both worlds so I did a $50K Pass Plus which gives me GS while still being able to book NH flights. You also get GS right away without having to wait for a year of spend.
