I think that they keep the lights out when this gets handed out so you can't actually read it properly. I must admit I don't understand why BA doesn't have trays of Cornish pasties run through the ovens, I can't see how that would be more expensive and it would be a far better gesture to passengers. Cornish pasties only have a dozen ingredients and would work well in the onboard ovens.
There is a vegetarian alternative, to deal with the 12% chicken content.

My son ate both ours and reported they were nasty and "soggy, probably microwaved". I didn't fight hard to keep mine.
