We flew AC to Heathrow last month as part of a larger European trip. Our connecting flight into YYZ was early but the transatlantic connections (not just London) were all behind schedule. Our flight finally took off after successive delays were announced three times. A little time was made up in the air but we were still two hours late. It was the same when we flew into LHR earlier this year.

Fortunately, we were staying in London the first night so making an onward flight or train wasn't an issue.

An American couple behind us in the boarding queue was commenting that AC's London service had a bad reputation for delays and I told them they were lucky to have three big international airlines to choose from--in Canada, we're stuck with one crappy flag carrier.
