Understanding the United Upgrade List Comprehensively
Me: 1k in W, WL for transpacific route using Plus Points. Opted for both PE and Polaris upgrade WL - 20/40 plus points.

I am ahead of flyer X on the PE WL, but X is ahead of me on the Polaris WL.

I ask mostly out of curiosity: how does this occur - it's unintuitive.
