A first rate stay here last week. It was like going back in time 10 years, and in a good way.

Firstly a few days beforehand I got a detailed and genuinely useful email from the hotel's Concierge Desk, with various attachments about things like gym arrangement, a hosted run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7am and restaurant menus. There was also details of the airport car transfer options - starting at 45€. [I actually took the A1 red mini-bus option since that's virtually door to door and cost 3.40€ and runs at 20 minute intervals. Bus stop is right by the Arrivals exit].

Then for the first time since November 2022, I got the corporate "we're upgrading your upcoming stay" message, in this case to a Junior Suite, though actually just a very large room. I thought this facility had been quietly ditched by Hilton HQ, though to be fair I have had quite a few upgrades on arrival.

Here is the room and room plans. Note the arrival cookies, plus still and sparkling water, greatly appreciated.

And here is the welcome letter with timings.

Unusually I did go to the lounge and that had a full range of food and drinks, enough to serve as an evening meal albeit with limited choice. Mini beef + pork hamburgers,, some sort of chicken stew and rice, salad items, cheese, strudel, chocolate cake. Wines, spirits, soft drinks and coffee available. It's not a big space and no outside light, but otherwise a good offering.

For breakfast I used the ground floor main Two Kings restaurant. Lots of choices and eggs to order, very good offering. The lounge also offers a more limited set of breakfast options.

I can't really think of anything which was bad about this hotel really, I would certainly stay here again.
