Kind of interesting that there's no Chinese, but especially no Japanese written on the menu given Japan's close proximity to Busan. But then again, the use of Japanese used to be banned in South Korea not that long ago. I haven't been to South Korea since the 90s, so what is the status today of Japanese signage for tourists there? Is it almost entirely in English for all international travelers, even Chinese?
Pretty much just Korean/English around the city with Mandarin and Japanese on the subways/public transit. I think Signiel, Paradise Hotel and Lotte Hotel Seomyeon definitely cater more to the Japanese and Chinese tourists. Their breakfast buffet reflects those crowds. PH Busan is just mediocre Korean and Western selections.
