Number 1) is definitely yes, she is still eligible for ORC. Wait a few days after the flight (I was told at least a week by the plat line), and call the Elite line to ask for the ORC. Very important: keep the boarding passes until you have successfully received the XPs, just in case they are requested for proof.

Number 2), I'm not sure it's a good idea as FB seems to be trying to prevent double dipping. But others might give you more info.
