Yes, you can select whether to wl both p+ and polaris or polaris only (or p+ only, which you don't want).

And you should be able to cancel online under the "upgrades" tab, though that may be available only for plus points upgrades. (Also, I wouldn't cancel just because you can't preorder meal . . . I also wouldn't cancel just because of no PL access, though I understand the sentiment a bit more there).
