It’s better than zero which is what QF would have been aiming for at a year ago. Or they could have sent the text “there is a chance you may not be able to fly on (date x) so we can offer a rebooking on another service next day or two or a full refund” - as they did to a friend of mine trying to get from CNS to SYD. He rebooked to next day - no accom, no meals, no taxi vouchers. This was an A330 substituting down to a 738.
