IAD-HND UA803 11/2 got cancelled. It shows divert (30min landing back at IAD?) and then 6hiur delay then cancelled, who knows why/if they diverted in the first place?

Ua status says

Your flight is canceled because your crew did not have sufficient off-duty/rest time required by federal law. We're sorry for the inconvenience

NH101 IAD-HND 11/2 has 3 hour delay, NH101 11/3 cancelled ..
I see plenty of NH/UA planes delayed for 11/2
