DL's last quarterly earnings call was not especially reassuring. I got the impression that they (1) are not sure why things are not going as well as before and (2) have no long-term strategy that they are confident enough to share.

Cost reductions are an easy short term measure, unfortunate to hear but unsurprising as well. Hope they figure something out, they need more WB and long haul aircraft but they missed a cheaper financing opportunity as interest rates have risen.
