I wanted to update the thread with some Hyatt Prive info.
So the Prive rates are standard which in this case $50-100 more (in official rate USD) than member's discount.
The Prive program gives free breakfast and room-to-room or suite-to-suite upgrade. Which is something but not that much. Not a big difference, as member discount covers breakfast and then some... but better than nothing.
Would not have a been a good deal if hotels rates were accurate in USD. 40K pts for a $1000/nt suite - great deal. 40K pts for $400 one, not so much.
