So, what's the correct procedure of attaching my Oneworld status? Do I need to do it before checking in? Maybe that was the mistake. Stupid BA ....s, you can't even change seats after check in! Oh yeah and there was a cop nearby I think, like I give a .... and not intimidated.

American Airlines (not AA but US based airlines are so much better).
All of this over you not being able to board with group 2, and having to experience the horrors of group 4 instead? Honestly, early boarding is nice if available but your travels will be so much happier if you don't set such store by in what order you walk onto an aeroplane. It certainly isn't worth having a "fight" with a poor staff member, as you in your other post on the matter.

You can actually change your seat after check in by the way, as long as you haven't downloaded your boarding pass.
