How early to arrive for 6am flight from PDX?
I'm on the 6am AS flight tomorrow morning (Fri 3 Nov) from PDX to SEA. I have an onward connection to BZN there (all one booking).
How early should I arrive at PDX? I'm HBO (no checked bags) and should have TSA PreCheck - I'm doing my Global Entry enrollment on arrival today and have entered my KTN into the system, but I guess the full approval status might not flow through in time?
I'll be staying in the city and was thinking of taking the Red line to PDX - would it be crazy to take the one that's scheduled to arrive at PDX at 05:13? Or should I go for the one that arrives at 04:50, or even an Uber getting there earlier to be on the safe side? I've seen that the gate can close at T-30 but I've no idea how long it would take me to get from the Red line station to the gate (never been through PDX before).
I'm a OW Emerald if it makes any difference.
Also second question - and probably a completely stupid one - but is there any way to standby for a later flight with a Saver fare? I can't see an option in the app or online site so I'm guessing not.
