Part of this - and I didn't know this - is that airbrdges have operational thresholds of 41 to 54 kts, and some if things go full badger then some or all of them may go out of service - effectively no airport. HAL are looking to move at least some airbridges to tuck them into the building structures.
So does this mean the worst of it is likely to be over by 5am? I fly into Bristol at 3:30PM (sorry I know this is the BA forum and BA don't fly into Bristol, but I think this can also be seen as the Flyertalk Storm Ciaran thread).
