This makes the WestJet RBC World Elite MasterCard even more valuable than it already was with its free first checked bags for cardholders and up to eight additional guests travelling on the same itinerary (which has always seemed a bit overly generous IMO). For me, this benefit alone more than justifies the $119 annual fee, effectively making all of the other benefits (annual companion voucher, various insurance coverages, etc.) free. I tell people all the time, if you fly WestJet regularly, get this card.
