If I am a Discoverist would you still recommend HC Ginza over HH Shibuya?
Everything I wrote applies to you as a Discoverist except the extraordinary breakfast buffet being free, as it is to me as a Globalist. But you can pay for that. I don't know the price, but whatever it is, I'd be buying it most days if it wasn't comp'd with my status.

As near as I can tell, the non-suite rooms appear to all be the same, just a higher floor view (of a building across the street).

I have a hard time imagining the Centric Ginza being inferior to the Hyatt House Shibuya in any way. But cost difference, in Yen or points, could be significant -- I just don't know.
