I wouldn't want a bunch of passengers standing in the galley while I am trying to work or take a break either. They aren't blocking the lavs, they are just claiming their space (albeit a little aggressively).
Dentists don't want patients families waiting in their offices, Retail workers don't want customers hanging out in their break room and work area. As a teacher, I don't allow students behind my desk. Why do airline passengers think no where (besides the flight deck) should be off limits?
I can't see why that would enrage people and call for them to get fired. It seems a bit overly sensitive.
To add: Does anyone like anyone looking over their shoulder while they text? Do you like your clients or customers hovering behind your desk while you text or do emails?
