Out tickets were premium economy booked with points.
not sure if this is common knowledge, but the upgrade did not code as airline spend on my Amex. It coded as “business services - professional services” for 1X points.
I did briefly try to figure this out before booking and didn’t see anything on it. So hope this helps someone out there!
